Winner of JRad and Nukhaev gets Hoki from Japan. Whoever comes out of that group of 3 gets the winner of Hungary/Georgia in a quarterfinal.

JRad time!
Nukhaev visibly looks a good bit bigger than JRad; not really a surprise since JRad is probably small for the weight but still I wasn't expecting how visibly apparent it was
Russian controlling center and JRad warned to pick it up about a minute in
20 seconds later the Russian is warned to pick it up; neither has attempted a shot yet
Jrad w/ a low single and gets the TD on the edge! Russian tried to get OOB but continuation our friend there (2-0 JRad)
That's all the action for the first period
Big time double off the whistle!!!! Gets some nice elevation but no exposure; tries to work a gut but no dice (4-0 JRad)
The Russian is starting to gas; JRad adds another TD that honestly wasn't really even a move - he got to a leg and the Russian just kinda turtled and JRad spun behind. Russian slow to get up and get back to center (6-0 JRad)
90 seconds left and the Russian takes his first shot; a real dive at a single leg. JRad covers and holds for the stalemate
Snapdown go behind off a half hearted Russian shot (8-0 JRad) JRad waiting at center w/ 45 seconds left nad the Russian very slow to get up and join him
JRad in on a leg and Russian holds him off
That's how it ends 8-0 for JRad; he's on to the next round

JRad vs Japan
One minute in; JRad w/ the only shot attempt and Japan warned to pick it up
Two minutes in and still not much action; JRad warned to pick it up and put on the clock - he gets the TD! (2-0 JRad)
Japan not getting up and asking for injury time; and we are back
2-0 JRad lead at the break
Japan in on a shot; JRad trying to turn the corner but Japan buckling down on the ankle . . . JRad gets behind and Japan gives up the ankle (4-0 JRad)
Huge bullrush counter TD by JRad with 90 seconds left! (6-0 JRad)
Japan getting aggressive and sloppy now; easy go behind for JRad (8-0)
Japan staying down on the mat again; might just be blood this time
TD JRad! That's a 10-0 tech and he's into the quarters!

Justin took out Japan 10-0 in the 1/8 final. Not scored on in 2 bouts, wow! Got to see the last bit on video as I'm up super early as routine. Justin looks huge and defined. If I had to compare, at NCAAs in March a maturing teen, now the dude looks bulked up and chiseled. Impressive.

Here we go . . . JRad vs Georgia; Georgia is definitely not as defined physically as JRad - looks like a more fit Nacho Libre
One minute in and Georgia warned to pick it up
30 seconds later and Georgia is put on the passivity clock; that expires and it's 1 point for JRad
JRad now warned to pick it up; he does take a shot and touches legs but good positioning from Georgia stops it before he ever threatens to score
1 - 0 JRad at the break; he's definitely been the aggressor but Georgia has done a good job w/ positioning to neutralize any shots before they go anywhere; body language tells me gas tank by Georgia is gonna be a factor here in the second though
One minute into the second and Georgia put on the clock again; JRad still being the aggressor (I don't think Georgia has a shot the whole match). Passivity clock expires (2-0 JRad)
Big double! (4-0 JRad) with one minute to go
Georgia has to be told to get up and get back to center; JRad is breaking him
Georgia finally takes a shot w/ 6 seconds left that is easily defended
JRad wins 4-0 and is into the semis!

My comment is Justin won that with relentless pressure. Kept attacking and trying find away in and was rewarded with 2 shot clock points, then the big TD. The Georgian was gassed and flummoxed out there. Wow, on to the semis for Justin.
Team USA has 5 in the semis by my count, amazing round for our U20 guys!

Tough semi next against Rizabek Aitmukhan who won the senior world championships last year. On paper his toughest match was the first one that he won 8-0. He is definitely looking good.

This next wave of guys are going to win a senior team world championship IMO.
