Sucks that the cable we get in Corvallis - where the school is actually located - does NOT get Portland stations on cable, only Spewgene.
There is streaming, but having no internet access other than my phone I certainly don't want to look at that tiny screen for 3 hours.
Hope enough folks will badger the Spewgene CW that they might consider carrying it as well. Don't think they could get uo games even if they wanted them. 🤬

How does the "cast" work? My phone and TV are both Samsung if that matters.

Just plug the chromecast into the back of the TV and download the app to your phone. There will be a small square in the corner of the screen that will send the video to your TV. We use it for the livestream games it works great.

Samsung smart TV? If so, you may not even need a streaming stick. I stream from my phone to my TCL TV all the time. A Google search would be a good place to start.

I get all the local stations, including Portland CW and Fox. A lot of it has to do with where you live, reception-wise. If you're interested in that route, do a bit of research on what people are saying about reception where you live. Only downside is you can't record, unless you added some kind of aftermarket recording device. I think I paid about $30 for my antenna on Amazon. Plugs into back of TV, and antenna sticks to your wall, or window

You just plug it into one of the HDMI ports on your TV and then you have to through a simple process to pair w/ remote (on newer models) and your phone. Then, when you open up an app, many of them will have a little Chromecast icon, you just click on that and, viola, picture goes to TV. If you really got desperate, you could get it on a Chrome browser and then if it knows about the device there's an option to Cast or something like that (I don't remember) and you get the whole web page there.

I think I still have a VHS tape with like 12 hours of The Simpsons, and Head Bangers Ball on it, somewhere I have a tape of a bunch of "TV Funhouse" and "Liquid TV" episodes. My most treasured VHS item is an original version of Star Wars where Han shoots Greedo before Greedo has a chance to do anything.
