The QB's name is Jake Luton #7 from Ventura College, he was gunna sign with the idaho vandals..but the vandals but he went to venture instead, I watched the highlight video of him on the Oregonian page. WOW! the due has good touch on the ball, better than darrel and he canrun anyone over too! with a 6'6 220 Qb, u deff have the perfect dual threat QB to run a spread offense!! Great pick CGA!!....man I love CGA! he's deff putting together his future beavers team, and its looking very interesting! what do you guys think of him? is this guy a Pac-12 caliber QB? GO BEAVS!

After a quick look at his stats with Idaho, not very impressive.
He can clearly run.... 5 rushing TD's.
But if you cant win the starting job at Idaho.... I'm not sure you are a Pac 12 QB.
Time will tell.

Here's my optimist response: I hope this guy lights it up for us! He's got prototypical QB size.
Here's my pessimist response: OSU - the new home for WAC reject QBs.
