The longtime OSU basketball secretary (for the lack of a better term) under Ralph, Jimmy and Eddie passed away last week on her 96th birthday. Married to former OSU baseball/basketball assistant coach/Phillies scout Bill Harper. Mother-in-law to ex-Beaver FB star Steve Locey.
A first-class lady.

When I was a student I worked in the athletic ticket office. Mrs. Harper was there quite often and was one of the nicest ladies I have ever met. Knew every student in the office's name, always asked us how we were doing and what we were up to. Very grateful to have crossed paths with her at one point in my life.
