0-3 with 2 K's (one looking), reached on an error and recorded an RBI
Travis is in a strange place, new living quarters and adjustments, new teammates he must get to know that have been playing together for two months, and seeing some good Advanced-A arms daily. Rookies are known to face periods of adjustments when entering Pro ball. Patience is the word.
He'll settle in, swing the bat and be in AA quickly.

He hasn't played a game in more than a month. He'll adjust. Everybody he faces now is the equivalent of a Friday night Pac-12 starter.

I believe the score was 1-0. He was responsible for the only score. He gets the job done as usual.

AA team is the Akron Rubber Ducks....gag.. Matt Boyd is on the Akron roster Just got promoted last week. Boyd just made his second start for Akron on Friday. Five innings. Two hits and a walk. No runs. I am curious when the Guardians promote Boyd. Right now, they only have one healthy lefty on the roster. |
