Nothing but a thong. Orange thong, though.

Nothing but a thong. Orange thong, though. I want to see that come November. Last I checked, only the student section can pull it off, with enough antifreeze

Nothing but a thong. Orange thong, though. Or shirts and skins. Which ones are shirts or skins, men , women, 'players choice'?

I'm hoping for that Perdue game they plan on getting fans to wear color by section and make the stadium looked striped, rather than getting 34k people showing up in in Charlie Brown shirts.

Thats better than an indiscriminant mix of orange and black. I'm thinking stripes, since it's apparently stripe night... don't recall OSU pulling it off before

I'm thinking stripes, since it's apparently stripe night... don't recall OSU pulling it off before Not sure if it's lack of planning/getting the word out from the university, or a lack of fans caring enough to go through with it. Probably a bit of both. Only way it probably works is if OSU literally puts shirts on the seats for people to wear that game, but that's a lot of shirts, and even that may not do it. I worked with just the students at basketball games trying to do orange outs and lemme tell ya I never thought it would be that difficult to convince people to wear the literal free shirt we just gave them so the student section could be an orange out. And that was just one section of ~500 students.
They can pull it off down at Autzen though, so clearly it can be done on the West coast and isn't exclusively an SEC or B1G thing (uo hasn't played a game as a B1G team yet so counting their previous game they pulled it off as a P-12 one).

The Beavs did an orange out a couple years back that looked great. Probem is, they keep changing it up. I assume they want to sell shirts.
In my mind it should be all orange as often as possible because it looks terrific on TV, and black looks a lot like empty seats, then shoot for stripes once a season until they can get it right.
Lots of fans don't care, and others can't keep track. Heck, there's plenty of fans that can't keep track of whether an upcoming game is home or away until the last minute. I know I watch games on national TV by "bigtime" schools that have a solid sea of a single bright color in the stands, and it looks great. Orange should probably be the default here until people buy in, then shoot for patterns.

I'm still not sure what the original post had to with what to wear except for a couple of games. Are the colors supposed to mean something?

It looks like black, orange, black & orange, black, orange, black & orange, and black & orange. I believe that the Seniors decide what to wear against Wazzu, so it could wind up being something different. I personally liked my proposed colors in the other thread.

So is "dark mode" on October 5th a clever way of saying "black out", without the professor protest? Inquiring minds would like to know.
