He has been shut down for the summer. Not injured, just the typical precautionary move in summer baseball these days.
The new player is Ben Leid of CV and CWU, the Player of the Year in the GMAC (WOU's conference).

There is no equality in summerball. The Beaver coaches want their hitters to take every at bat possible but when it comes to pitches throwing every pitch possible . . . . not so much.
Heavy season workload = take the summer off from competitive pitching. Conditioning and light throwing
Light season workload or to work on something = log a modest amount of innings.
DNP season - Pitch through the summer schedule - usually around 30 innings.
It's likely Palmer got done what he needed to do on the bump.

Curious if anyone on here saw him pitch this summer?
It was such a limited sample size of regular season appearances due to being injured.
The kid throws hard and should develop into a good pitcher.
