Dam I don't remember his velo being that high. I remember he had amazing location. How fast was he throwing at Goss? 92-96 mph. Rasmussen was a first rounder before he threw out his arm the second time. Rasmussen, Cooper Hjerpe, and Mike Thurman are arguably three of the most talented Oregon State pitchers of the last 50 years.

I'd say Luke and Dallas Buck. Buck only had it a year or so before whatever was going on with his arm happened, but for a short period of time he was tremendous.

92-96 mph. Rasmussen was a first rounder before he threw out his arm the second time. Rasmussen, Cooper Hjerpe, and Mike Thurman are arguably three of the most talented Oregon State pitchers of the last 50 years. Your bias leaves out the guy that's all over the record book... Luke. Heimlich threw 387 innings. Thurman threw 213 innings. Hjerpe threw 192.1 innings. Rasmussen threw 160 innings. It is extremely easy to set records, when you throw more than 80% more innings than everyone else. Extremely. Only perfect game in Oregon State history: Drew Rasmussen
Pitchers with multiple shutouts: Mike Thurman & Drew Rasmussen
Pitchers with 17-strikeout games: Cooper Hjerpe
Single season strikeout leader: Cooper Hjerpe
Hjerpe threw more strikeouts in 2022 than Heimlich threw in more than 25% more innings in 2018. Had Hjerpe thrown as many innings, i.e. had Hjerpe gone to Omaha, and kept up his pace, Hjerpe would have finished with 202 strikeouts, shattering the all-time record.
Had Hjerpe thrown as many innings, if he continued at the pace that he was on, Hjerpe would have finished with 553 strikeouts, decimating Heimlich's record. As it was, despite missing almost all of 2020, because of COVID-19, Hjerpe finished fifth all-time in strikeouts.
Mike Thurman has the best career winning percentage, complete games, and shutouts of the four.
I said most talented, not the one with the most team records. Personally, I think that team records are a very limited way of arguing about who was better than whom across different eras, but you do you.
You have three guys who all have had or will have more impressively professional careers than the fourth. I disagree that Heimlich is comparable, but whatever.
As for biased, I personally think that you are the biased one here, but that just may be me.
