I don't think Washington has seen a defense as wirey and tough as ours. OK, Stanford, but they're nothing like they've been in the past. The huskies could've reemed just about any team on that Saturday. If the Beavs come out and bloody their noses a couple of times, get some timely stops, it might just throw them off their game. Put a little pressure on Browning and get a pick, hey, it could happen. In the final fall scrimmage at Reser I thought McMaryon had the quickest release and was the most accurate of the three QB's involved. At least on the short passes and that should be enough if we can get the running game going. I think it's going to be a much closer game than what's predicted.
Washington's schedule hasn't been that great. Arizona took them to OT and lost by 7. Stanford, with the best win-loss record of the opposition (4-2), is the only team that has played anyone of significance (KSU, USC, UCLA and nd) all wins. Washington opponents' (Rutgers, Idaho, Portland State, Arizona, Stanford and hole) combined win-loss is 16-24. OSU's (Minnesota, Idaho State, Boise State, Colorado, Cal and Utah) is 26-12.
So that folks, with $4.75, will get you a large Kicker at Dutch Bros.
The huskies are definitely big and fast, but hey, get out the sling and chuck that rock. Huck the fuskies! MB.

Arizona took them to OT and lost by 7. Yes indeed. That was a road game for the Huskies but, still, it was one measuring stick.

Would love for this to happen. Two things would result from this outcome: Beaver Nation would be out of its collective mind over the win AND it would be a serious indictment of this staff's ability to select a QB. In all honesty, I'll be satisfied if the final score is less embarrassing than 70-21.

Hopefully we can move the ball some on offense so the defense doesn't get so tired.

PSU actually did a decent job of this - they ran the ball enough to keep UW's offense off the field for stretches. They actually had some nice drives that unfortunately ended in endzone INTs, but they did at least eat up clock.
