He has been a really good coach, 127 -79 at Cal and Fresno State. In retrospect Cal should have never fired him as he had them at a level they have not reached since.

To Stanford and Cals credit they have traditionally been really good in Olympic sports. Stanford athletes are ranked 2nd all-time nationally in Olympic medals won with 280 and Cal Berkely is ranked 4th with 183.
