The Beavers have 3 members of their 2024 recruiting class projected in the MLB Draft tomorrow. All three are pitchers with one also being an outstanding SS (Haight). The list includes player, round and selection, drafting team and slot bonus. MLB Scouts and G.M.s do not see this draft as strong as the 2023 group, one of the reasons being a sharp drop-off in college arms once the top 3 are off the board. The lack of pitching power in the prep group is evident as well. That could lead to some disappointment in the Beaver camp with 3 pitching prospects projected in the top third of the draft.
