Yesterday's (7-11) Jeopardy round:

Category: 1980's Amateur Wrestling

$400 clue

At the 1980 NCAA Championships, Oregon State's Howard Harris won all 5 of his matches by "fall"--doing this to opponents.

Sadly, none of the contestants knew that "fall" means "pin"

Doubly sad that no one here mentioned it. Always good to see Oregon State get a nod on Jeopardy.

Cool, glad it made it on the show. Harris' feat was and is the last one to do that to win an NCAA Championship. Also the stories I've heard is he was behind in the match against legend Big Bruce, but got him to his back on an edge of the mat move to seal the deal in the final.
