That last Puerto Rican Olympic basketball team also had an OSU player on it- Jose Ortiz (who was 40 years old at the time).

That last Puerto Rican Olympic basketball team also had an OSU player on it- Jose Ortiz (who was 40 years old at the time). Jose played for PR in the first Dream Team game. He got a pretty good response from the crowd in Portland. Clyde Drexler got a long ovation (he had to ask the fans to let them finish the introductions) and Jordan was booed (the Blazers lost the NBA championship to the bulls) for nearly as long. The game itself was a snooze-fest. |
