Yes you can if the tournament actually has a low amateur designation. About 5 or 6 amateurs make the field at Augusta each year. If none of them make the cut (it happens), the guy with the low score still winds up in Butler Cabin with Jim Nantz. The Masters likes to be different. They make their own rules. Anyway, the other majors don't have a low am designation if the amateur doesn't complete four rounds. Also, I should have said Rueck wouldn't get low am no matter what because there isn't such a thing in regular tour events. The only tournaments amateurs are recognized is in majors. And, Cole is a true golfer. They don't compete against other players. The leader board keeps track of that. You can be intimidated by the talent you see, and it'll truly screw you. But you compete with the course and yourself. He'll be proud of getting the invite and like all golfers have decisions, execution, holes that he will remember the rest of his life... good & bad... score be damned.

Shouldn't you have someone working along side you whose game is actually golf?

Shouldn't you have someone working along side you whose game is actually golf? Scott is a good golfer with a 7.8 handicap index. He knows what he’s doing.

Shouldn't you have someone working along side you whose game is actually golf? lol. I think a problem was the caddy wanted Cole to stop for a few moments every time he approached the ball so the caddy could either call a play or at least say which club to use and give directions on how to hit the shot.

How amazingly cool to Caddy for you son playing in the PGS. Way to go Cole and Scott! If footage doesn't make it into at LEAST 3 WBB games this year and mentioned in 5 I will be disappointed
