Portal transfers: Are we done? Maybe not!

The Beavers may not be done with bringing Portal transfers to Corvallis. There are roughly 50-60 uncommitted impact players still in the Portal including these five with west coast ties. Any of them would strengthen the Beav’s roster for 2025 if we have an available scholarship.
RHP Anthony Evenson 6-2, 194 from UC – San Diego. In ’24, 82 IP, 85k, 24 BB and 3.07 ERA. Member of Team USA. FB touches 97, CB and slider with teeth.
RHP Thatcher Hurd 6-2, 200 from LSU via UCLA. Pitched effectively against OSU in Goss in 2022. Helped LSU win NC in ’23. Never got in rhythm in ’24. Had 56k and 24 BB in 44 IP this year. ERA was 6.55. Mid 90’s heat and great stuff.
LHP Myles Patton 6-4, 207 from Long Beach State U. Had 66 2/3 IP with 85K and 26 BB in ’24. A healthy 3.28 ERA. Throws a 4-seamer with ride in low 90’s with a dirty slider. Athletic and a strike thrower.
2B Alva Arquette 6-0, 205 from Washington. Has raw power and slashed .325/.384/ .574 in 2024. Hit 14 doubles, 2 triples and 12 home runs with 36 RBI.
Daniel Dickenson 6-1, 195 from Utah Valley U. All WAC First Team and 3rd team All American. Slashed .363/ .469/ .661. “Toolsy” with power, had 14 doubles, 1 triple and 18 home runs in ’24. Heavily recruited.
