Not sure who the Huskies will get. Jenks? That athletic department is hurting, already borrowing from FOX and ESPN, against future rights payments, to pay off current bills, and deferring the balloon payments due on Husky Stadum..

Interesting development at Montlake, Head Baseball Coach Jason Kelly has resigned. Kelly spent two years at UW going 54-51-1 over that span. Kelly will become the Associate HC with newly hired Michael Early at Texas A&M. Kelly, considered a superior pitching coach was making $550k at UW but will be paid much more than that at A&M.
Prior to leaving UW for USC, A.D. Jen Cohen was a strong supporter of college baseball. Folks aren't sure about new AD. Peter Chun who came to UW from WSU. The Huskies are rumored to be belt tightening in Athletics in line with their $30 mill media stream from the B1G Conference in the coming years (it increases $1m / year until 2030). They are also rumored to be having problems with their NIL.
