I have a co-worker who moonlights as a football referee. He worked games for the high school girls flag football league in spring. Said it was quite impressive to watch and said the number of teams double next year.

So, did you know of this? Catch any games?

I have read that flag football for both boys and girls is one of the fastest growing HS sports in the country.
With the increased awareness of potential brain injuries in tackle football it makes sense that more and more parents will direct their kids into flag football.
