man the post season really changed the standings. lots of NR prior rankings...Not saying that is good or bad, just sort of odd to me.

I have the same issues with this one as Baseball America's final rankings. I liked Baseball America's final rankings with Oregon State finishing ahead of Clemson. 9/10 is about right, but I quibble about the teams around Oregon State. And the Beavs still got hosed in the seeding. At no point should Oregon State have been ranked as low as 15. The Beavs were better than that. |

The Beavers were indeed better than that. What I saw mentioned in several discussions on the seedings - "what hurt the Beavs was they were erratic or inconsistent over the course of the season."

No, they actually weren’t better than that. They made it to the final16, so any ranking between 9-16 is appropriate. And who cares, no Omaha and it doesn’t matter. |
