Oregon State's coaches are no strangers to the best prep programs in the west. In the pursuit of the best prep baseball prospects that fit the OSU program's criteria and standard, it only follows that they are recruiting in some national power prep programs. Simple logic - good teams have good players. In the just concluded 2024 prep season, six future Beaver recruits played on three teams included in National Top-50 Prep polls. The three teams included the Huntington Beach, CA HS Oilers who finished at 24-10 and were a CIF Semi-finalist, the West Linn, OR. HS Lions who were 26-4 and defeated Sunset HS 8-4 to win the Oregon 6A title for the third consecutive year, and the Puyallup, WA. HS Vikings who went 25-6 and failed to defend their '23 state 4A title in losing to Richland HS, 4-3 in the title game, A look at the six athletes who are coming to Oregon State.
