What is this whole thing about "progressive" teams not wanting to take pitchers in the first round because they can develop them? Do you want a great chance to win 1 out of every 4-5 days? Take a stud pitcher and if they're really that good at the very top of the list, they'll be in the majors pretty dang quick.
Note: Am not saying Bazzana shouldn't be #1, just that it's silly to not draft a pitcher at some point in the first round.
Bazzana going #1 would be a fantastic injection of PR going into the transition years.

The future of a pitcher's career is much harder to project than the future of a position players, I think is the logic.
