I can't believe there is enough NIL money in softball to justify giving up a Stanford degree and the lifetime of professional contacts and opportunities available through the Cardinal good ol' boy network. But what do I know, just an old many shaking his fist at the clouds.

If so, I could see tons of reasons to get out of that area.

She or her parents probably got contact by some program at the WCWS, they made an offer, boom, into the portal.

Yes, away from those Bay Area heathens, but into the direct path of the tornados.

I'm definitely not psychic but after I posted that I saw a headline that mentioned her and Oklahoma. Supposedly there's a reason God made Oklahoma but for the life of me I can't think of what it could be. Oklahoma produces 4.7% of the United States of America's oil. The United States of America produces the most oil in the world with Russia a distant second. If Oklahoma were an independent country, it would produce the 38th-most oil in the world, more than Italy, Denmark, France, Japan, South Korea, Spain, the Netherlands, etc. Here is a picture of the Oklahoma State Capitol Building with the derricks back in the day: Only 18 states do not produce any oil and Oregon and Washington are two of the 18 freeloaders. It is crazy that the second-largest "industry" in Oklahoma are tribal casinos. Oklahoma has the second-largest tribal casino industry in the country behind only California. Production of the following by state: Beef 2nd
Pigs 6th
Wheat 9th Cotton 10th
Chickens 14th
Each of the 50 states is great in their own way.
