Heard this might happen at last night's game. Checked the roster today and it's true, Laif will pitch in Corvallis this summer.
James DeCremer, who redshirted this past season, is also on the roster. And incoming freshmen Paul Vazquez and Hustyn Wheeler getting some playing time as position players.

I remember a few times in the past that the athletic department even put out a list.

Summer ball with the Knights is exactly what the Doctor ordered for Palmer. I'm all in on this one.
Ditto for DeCremer. Both are mid-90's guys and pitching in Goss against college competition will benefit both greatly.
Segura on the other hand would benefit from a summer in the weight room - that bigger, faster, stronger thing.

Easton Talt played a smooth CF in his first game for the Bend Elks last night. Also on that team is portal-er Brandon Forrester (who played SS last night).
I notice that incoming FR (C) Martin Serrano is with the Northwest Star Nighthawks this summer.

We should pay attention to what position Serrano is playing. He catches and plays 1B. He may not be coming in as a catcher considering the depth at that position.

I love that Palmer is staying in Corvallis makes me think he isn’t portal bound.

I love that Palmer is staying in Corvallis makes me think he isn’t portal bound. Hopefully... but if it is like last year there is another portal window after Fall ball, Dec 1st - Dec 15th was the 2023 time frame. It is a never ending process.

Springfield could certainly use your attendance.

Carson McEntire, the All Arizona outfielder from Mountain Ridge (OSU class of 2023) will play for the Orange County Riptide in the California Collegiate League this summer. I believe he was red-shirted at OSU in 2024.

Decreamer 2 IP, 4 SO. Palmer 3 IP, 4 SO.
No hits or freebies for either.

I believe he was red-shirted at OSU in 2024. You probably know better than me, Chin. But, as I understand it, Carson McEntire and James DeCremer were two of the final three that fell off the 40-man roster back in February.
