Looked to me like Texas A&M batters were the opposite of our Beavers, but with the same result. Instead of watching strike 3 though, they usually swung at ball 4! Boy, did they love the high ones last night. Tennessee had a shaggy haired pitcher come in I think the 8th inning and he had the A&M guys so messed up, swinging out of their asses. Outside? Swing. A tiny bit more outside? Swing. Even more outside? Yep. Swing. That dude was lights out.

Didn't care about the game or the world series as a whole once the Beavs were eliminated. Only two things caught my attention although I can't stand tennessee especially their coach the team with black and orange won and the ducks can't say they lost to the national champs.

As a "master" once said... success is making your balls look like strikes, and your strikes look like balls. Success can be had "pitching" vs just throwing hard. |

TAMU really has an inferiority complex when it comes to UT. This won't help.
Of course, no one in his right mind would live in Bryant/College Station over Austin, no matter how big it has gotten. -

Tennessee Wrong color orange, though. Way too much green/yellow in it. And the fact that they stole that "orange" from UTEP is just sad. |

Was reading the reaction of A&M fans......very similar to us, when milkmaid bailed. Pretty lame to bail the day after they lose the National championship final......and he had adimately denied being interested in the Texas job.
The fans feel cheated, and they should. Pretty lame that the guy is playing for a national championship, and signing papers for his next job at the same time.
And you know Texass is just loving this

The five pitchers that pitched more than 2.1 innings at Omaha were each a Yeskie recruit and was coached up by Yeskie. If Texas A&M is not at least taking a looking at Yeskie, they're dopes. |

If Texas A&M wants to keep the 2024 team together, I would guess hiring someone that some of the players already know would be a positive. A current assistant or a former assistant appear to be some of the most obvious candidates. |
