The "logo"... maybe the most "frustrated" best player ever. Showed you don't have to win a ton of titles to be highly respected.

His range was amazing. If there was a three point line in his era he would have a lot more points.
I was able to watch the Lakers live three times and even met him once. What a class act.

Not sure how many of you watched, “Winning Time,” an HBO mini-series about the Jerry Buss/Magic Johnson Lakers. The producers/directors laid a real hit-job on Jerry West, played by Jason Clarke. I didn’t KNOW the man…. but I was a kid who grew up in San Diego. I HATED the Celtics and LOVED the Lakers! West and Baylor, especially. RIP, Mr CLUTCH!!

I have it on good authority that Jerry West just did not want to live to see the Celtics win another NBA Championship.
