It seems like Kentucky bought a team through the portal, SC and Texas players are their studs. You mean like our ace and our only player with a hit today? |

In years past, I would be very concerned down 3-0. But this years team can score in bunches, real quick. This would require us loosening up and not playing tight, which is apparently too much to ask from this team on the road. Yes, this is their ace, but he's not Nolan Ryan, and there's no reason we should only have 1 hit through 5. There's something wrong with this team's mental makeup. They're cruising, until they're not, and then they're just downright fugly. |

I think I read that over half their starters are portal guys as is todays starter.

That was a golden opportunity for Kentucky.

Bottom line
Through 2/3 of a game. Kentucky is the better team. Beavs with 3 innings to reverse that.

We haven't gotten into their bullpen at all. Which means that they will be sitting pretty for game 3, if required.
