It's worse to Omaha the following week.... I was curious and took a peek and it's upwards of $750+ round trip

Alright, who’s with me Flights on American... $620 6/7 Red Eye arrive 11am 6/8 6/24 8pm Monday "in case" Rental Car... $900 + gas 6/10 Lexington... approx 775 miles to Omaha... drop 6/14 at OMA (no reason to keep a car as every hotel has shuttles) Hotels... ?? |

Fly to Cincinnati (airport is in northern Kentucky) and drive, only 77 miles.

Fly to Cincinnati (airport is in northern Kentucky) and drive, only 77 miles. Cincinnati and Louisville are both within 80 miles of Lexington so toss up there. We ended up with a bundled flight and hotel (4 nights) deal for less than a grand for the two of us going through Cincinnati. Got it through Priceline.com Rental cars are around $300 though at both CVG and SDF. I usually find that Costco Travel has the best deals on rental cars but not always. |

That's close to 2 grand when you throw in 4 nights at a moderately priced hotel for 2 people. My priceline package deal was half that. For those who do not want to rent a car the Priceline deal comes in at $1248 for flights and hotel for 4 nights, 6/7 through 6/11 directly into LEX. Airline is United and the hotel is a moderately priced one and definitely not the Hilton. |

Although when using SW I use points so it's $11.20 total. You can get 1am Sat redeye, arrive 11:29am Sat, Hampton near medical center/UK that's walking distance to the field, fight out Tuesday for under $1k on AA. Not sure the deadline (edit- 5pm tomorrow/Wednesday) for OSU to sell their allotted seats in SEC 102/110, but UK will stop those out when returned. EDIT2- for those who don't get the email updates... Beaver meet up 2.5 hrs before 1st pitch (gates open 90 min before) Campus Pub, 393 Walker Ave. |
