While we have a few minutes before the next game, can somebody explain the belt buckles that have become so popular in college baseball? The ones about the size of 450 foot tape measures that aspire to be manhole covers when they grow up?

I *think* they have spray charts and positioning information for fielders throughout the opposing lineup. But don't quote me on that.

Yeah I think they have something to do with analytics. Seems hard to run and or bend with such a big 'buckle' But it's been a long time since I was their age. Also seems odd to put the pothholder.mitten in the back pocket when at bat and needing to run fast. If you get on base get it from the coach who takes your shin/ankle guards...

Maybe I'm not. reminds me of a former co-worker who was a duck Her dad went to all the FB games and 'invented' a flip down device that he could use to hold drink and/or food to free up his hands. called it the 'Duck Feeder.' Dad's wife said..you could make them for OSU fans and sell them..Call the Beaver Eaters. The wife needed to learn what the term meant in 'non civil circles'. |
