Kentucky beat Indiana State 5-0. Kentucky will probably host the Lexington Super Regional.
The winner of the Corvallis and Lexington Regionals plays the winner of the Athens and Raleigh Regionals. Georgia and NC State each swept their Regionals. If Oregon State gets past Irvine and Kentucky, Oregon State will open the College World Series as the "road" team against Georgia or NC State.
One of the two other Super Regionals is set on Oregon State's side of the bracket and that is the Super Regional between Oregon and Texas A&M.
The fourth Super Regional will be between Clemson and the winner between Florida and Oklahoma State tomorrow.
The top half of the bracket is even more of a mess. The only Super Regional that is set is Kansas State and Virginia. Tennessee will play the winner between East Carolina and Evansville. Florida State will play the winner between Connecticut and Oklahoma. West Virginia will play the winner between LSU and North Carolina.
Oregon State would start as the road team in Omaha. The Beavs have started as the road team in Omaha three times: 1952, 2005, and 2007. In their other four appearances--2006, 2013, 2017, and 2018--the Beavs started as the home team.
Oregon State opened the College World Series against an ACC team in 1952, 2006, and 2018. Oregon State opened the College World Series against an SEC team once in 2013.

Fun fact, Oregon State and Irvine are two of the 10 teams, who will play on Monday. 21 teams left. 11 swept through today and clinched a spot in a Super Regional.
East Carolina v. Evansville starts the Regional Championship Games tomorrow at 9 a.m.. Oklahoma State v. Florida and Oregon State v. Irvine will start up at noon. North Carolina v. LSU will start up around 3 p.m. Connecticut v. Oklahoma will start up at 6 p.m.

Oregon State is trying to do something that it has done once before and that is to beat the four-seed and then beat the two-seed twice. The only other time that the Beavs successfully did so was in 2018. Oregon State beat the four-seed from Louisiana and then beat the two-seed, LSU, twice.
Oregon State beat the three-seed twice after beating the four-seed two times. In 2005, Oregon State beat four-seed Ohio State and then beat the three-seed, St. John's twice to advance to the Corvallis Super Regional. In 2017, Oregon State beat four-seed Holy Cross and then beat the three-seed, Yale twice to advance to the Corvallis Super Regional.
Oregon State beat the 4-2-3 seeds in order in 2006 and 2011.
Oregon State beat the 4-3-2 seeds in order in 2013.
Oregon State beat the 4-3-2 seeds in 2022 but lost to the two-seed in the first matchup.
Oregon State beat the three-seed twice in 2007 and the one-seed twice thereafter.
Oregon State beat the 4-3-2 seeds in order in 2014 but lost to the two-seed between the first two wins and then also lost the finale.
Oregon State beat the 4-1-3 seeds in order in 2021 but lost to the three-seed to start and then also lost the finale.
In the last 20 years, Oregon State has won Regional Championship Games against St. John's, Hawaii, Virginia, Georgia, Texas A&M, Yale, LSU, & Vandy. If Oregon State wins tomorrow, it would be against the second-Westernmost team that the Beavs have ever defeated in a Regional Championship Game behind only Hawaii. LSU is currently the second-Westernmost team back in 2018.

It was official enough that they announced ticket sales right after their clinching win... began approx 3 hrs ago. Only the dates were missing in their posting yesterday. OSU allotted tix will be the only option for reserved seatbacks. GA outfield bleachers or foul line(s) GA grass berm are still available $40 for all games played.

Thanks for the scoop, brother. They must know something approximately three hours ago that I did not last night. Announced last night... sales began this morning. But, unless their stadium burned to the ground the #2 seed was hosting when they go 3-0 Thunderstorms in Lexington on Wednesday, so there is still time. I was trying to think of the last time that a top eight seed did not host from a Power Five Conference, and it was not coming to me. It may have happened 20+ years ago, but I do not remember it happening within the last 20 seasons. The two that come to mind (Indiana State and Missouri State) were smaller teams that probably did not expect to host a Super Regional.

The three times that Oregon State won a National Championship, the bottom half of the bracket at Omaha was:
#2 Rice, #7 Georgia, Miami, & Oregon State #2 Rice, Mississippi State, #3 North Carolina, & Louisville Washington, Mississippi State, #6 North Carolina, & #3 Oregon State
A team from West of the Sabine, an SEC "Bulldog" team, one of the four best ACC teams, and a fourth team. (Oregon State came out of the top of the bracket in 2007 and beat North Carolina out of the bottom).
In 2024, the Oregon @ Texas A&M winner will be the team from West of the Sabine. Eugene and Seattle are about 248 miles apart. College Station and Houston are about 83 miles apart.
Mississippi State has been eliminated, but #7 Georgia is still alive. 2024 is the first year since 2006 that Georgia was named the #7 team in the NCAA Baseball Tournament.
By a process of elimination, #6 Clemson would have to be team number four. North Carolina was #6 in 2018, and Miami knocked off #6 Nebraska on the way to Omaha.
The fourth team will be Kentucky or Oregon State.
I should also note that Oregon State has only ever won a National Championship by eliminating North Carolina. The Beavs beat the Heels in the Championship Games in 2006 and 2007. In 2018, the Beavs beat the Heels in the second elimination game and then beat Mississippi State and Arkansas.
North Carolina lost in the Gainesville Regional in 2005 and the Chapel Hill Regional in 2017. In 2013, both North Carolina and Oregon State were in the Semifinal against UCLA and Mississippi State, respectively. The Beavs lost the first game, and the Heels lost the second.
