We have a pretty good group of guys competing this weekend in the WTT. Aden Attao secrued his spot on the world team in Greco by winning best 2-3 - both matches by tech. Today in Freestyle we have Renteria, Singleton, Grambrall, McDonnell, Montoya, Munoz, Rademacher and one mystery guy you will have to look up . Good to see a lot of guys competing. You can follow the action in Flo Arena. Also if you missed it, check out the OSU wrestling Facebook page for video of their outdoor practices.

Rademacher!!!!!!! U20 FS winner and world team member. Awesome Yup, he done good. Won the challenge tournament against a tough Merrill kid from CA, 2-2 by criteria. Then in the best two of three got the 1st match in the waning seconds, then blew past same kid in the 2nd match. He got better each match he wrestled. 2 WT members on the team with Attao. Two more chances tomorrow with Reneria and Trey; but it won't be easy.
I think everyone that went won at least 1 match, Good job Beavs!

Fan club put out this recap email on U20/U23 tournament in Ohio:
Eight Beavers competed in the U20 and U23 world team trials this past weekend. At the end of the weekend, not one but two Beavers will be heading to Spain to represent the United States.
Aden Attao won the U20 greco roman 130kg title by defeating Hayden Simpson of the Cowboy RTC in dominating fashion. Attao won the best of three series in two straight matches 9-0 and 10-0. After winning a bronze in 2022, Attao will look to bring a world championship to Corvallis.
In the U20 92kg freestyle division, Justin Rademacher defeated one of the top incoming freshman in the country, Cody Merrill, to win the challenge tournament and earn a bid in the best of three series against US Open champion Camden McDanel of Nebraska. In match one, Rademacher trailed late but was able to score at the buzzer to take a 4-3 victory. In bout #2, it was all Rademacher as he finished with a tech fall 11-1 to punch his ticket to the U20 world championships in Spain.
In other action, Attao also wrestled in freestyle as well, finishing 3rd in a very talented field. Attao lost to Ben Kueter of Iowa in the semifinals 8-7, but came back to finish 3rd with a 2-1 win over Koy Hopke.
In U23 action, Trey Munoz, seeing his first freestyle competition in some time, finished 7th in a tough field at 92kg. Other Beavers who wrestled in the U23 WTT were Maximo Renteria, who won several matches at 57kg, Nash Singleton, Graham Grambrall, Sergio Montoya, TJ McDonnell.
