The Tournament kicks off at 9:00 a.m. tomorrow. The first five games are:
Coastal Carolina v. Vanderbilt
Penn @ Virginia
Stetson @ Florida State
Western Michigan @ Kentucky
Wofford v. LSU
Western Michigan @ Kentucky is the big one for Oregon State's hopes to host a Super Regional. A Western Michigan win would mean that Kentucky would have to win four straight to host the Lexington Super Regional. Otherwise, Oregon State would host the Corvallis Super Regional with a win in the Corvallis Regional.
There is only one 1:00 p.m. game tomorrow, and that is Nicholls v. Irvine. Oregon State will play one or the other on Saturday.
The eight 4:00 p.m. Tournament games are:
Bryant @ NC State
Georgia Tech v. UNC Wilmington
High Point @ Clemson
Illinois v. Indiana State
Niagra @ Oklahoma State
Northern Kentucky @ Tennessee
Oral Roberts @ Oklahoma
St. John's v. Mississippi State
Illinois and Indiana State are the other two teams in the Lexington Regional.
The three 6:00 p.m. Tournament games are:
Fresno @ Santa Barbara
Grand Canyon @ Arizona
Tulane @ Oregon State
Obviously, the big game to close.
I should note that, if Oregon State can sneak out of the Regional and Super Regional, the first game in Omaha would be with the winner of the Athens and Raleigh Regionals. The eight possible first game opponents in Omaha would be Army, Georgia, Georgia Tech, UNC Wilmington, James Madison, South Carolina, Bryant, or NC State. Army @ Georgia is the first of those four games at 10:00 a.m. James Madison v. South Carolina is the second at 11:00 a.m. And I mentioned the two late games in the 4:00 p.m. games above.
