Sunday A.M.
With D1 Baseball, we are the #14 seed.
With Baseball America, we are the #15 seed.
Other Teams in the seeding 'neighborhood:
D1: UCSB 13, - OSU - Indiana State 15, Mississippi State 16, Southern Miss. 17 (they play today, possibly 2 games), Vandy 18, Duke 19 (currently leading Florida State, 9-4 in the B 4th).
Baseball America: Indiana State 14 - OSU - Dallas Baptist 16, Mississippi State 17, Duke 18, Vandy 19
Notable Major Discrepancies:
Southern Mississippi D1 17th / Baseball Amer. 25th
Dallas Baptist D1 22nd / Baseball Amer. 16th

So I'm watching the Tulane vs Wichita st. Game. 7th inning score tied at ten. The tv guy says it feels like one of those games where the team that scores the most wins.

Dallas Baptist D1 22nd / Baseball Amer. 16th Duke won and passed Oregon State. Dallas Baptist just won and passed Oregon State by one 10,000th of a percentage point in RPI. That is all to say that, if any Oregon State opponent had won one more game, the Beavs would safely be ahead of Dallas Baptist. But here we are. I personally do not buy that Mississippi State, Southern Miss, or Vandy are true threats to pass Oregon State. The Beavs totally deserve a host spot, but, if Oregon State misses out on a spot, it will be just barely.

If they get a host seed, I’ll be surprised (pleased), but there will be several Teams that will have legitimate gripes that they were passed over. In my opinion, they’re arguments would be at least as legitimate as any gripe that OSU can conjure up.

So, they'll announce the host sites on Monday? I recall they've released the sites on Sunday in prior years, but did they go back to Monday?
