That is some bad fundamental baseball by the defense. Where is the defensive rotation to cover the bases? The other players are just standing there watching him chase the runner.

And, two of the most basic... if the middle infielders both vacate the 1B trails the runner no need for a 3B to leave, and if the catcher leaves homeplate where is the pitcher? My guess, like the rest, standing and spectating? But I wasn't really watching closely, nor worth dissecting a FUBAR basic "Texas leaguer".

Pretty sure I've seen that play a couple times in the past...in a T-ball game.

Awful communication. Looked like interference by the catcher at third base. Terrible baseball on all levels, but still fun to watch

The baserunner didn't take Satchel Paige's advice about never looking back, and wow that center fielder had some jets. At least he kept his head in the game when everyone else around him looked lost.
