Bummer. I wasn't holding my breath since one of the in-the-know guys said she wasn't coming back. Hope we don't get cherry-pickedlike this year again.

It's unfortunate. I think if Dom had stayed another year she would have been hugely successful in the WCC and then been in a much better position to transfer to another school. I suspect that she will disappear as a sub wherever she ends up.

She had a major upside - maybe more than anyone else on last year's team.

I suspect that she will disappear as a sub wherever she ends up. I held out hope that somehow, someway Dom would stay another year or two at OSU. I had no real basis for this hope. But, nevertheless, it lingered. I thought Coach might be able to sell her on the idea that she would be a significant part of the offence next year (which I believe she could be). IMO she has the essential ingredients for a breakout year if Coach made up his mind to maximize these ingredients.... Whatever the case, she's gone. I wish her well at her new school, and I hope her new coach gives her the freedom to attack the basket. GO BEAVS!! |
