I will acknowledge that this may be orange colored glasses, but I simply do not believe that RPI is guaranteed to be the only factor in picking regional hosts. My opinion: we are locked in as a regional host, not making a national seed. We will see… I agree. I think our win today pretty much guarantees we host a regional. No way we are top 8 unless a miracle at this point. Personally, if we can host a regional, I feel pretty darn good. We play very well at home. If we can get through a regional, anything can happen in a super. Even on the road in a big environment, we have a shot in a three game series against anyone if we play well. |

Looks like the beavers will have to go home and rest up for postseason. 7-1 Cal. AZ aren’t pulling struggling pitcher, they are saving bullpen for tomorrow.

Always take care of business and don't rely on another team to help you out. Can't blame az if they are saving arms. Conference tournaments are set up for teams to not play a game like they normally would like during the regular season. Possibly 4 games in 5 days causes those situations.
