Not correct. Utah game today was meaningless to hole. If they won, they would have still had to beat USC tomorrow to be 2-0 to USC's 1-1.
That said, LOVE the loss anyway! FTD!

This game was Oregon's throwaway game. Oregon could lose and still would automatically advance with a win tomorrow. The same was not true for Oregon State.
Utah's win and Oregon's loss moved Oregon State behind South Carolina in RPI, and Oral Roberts looks like they will be beating North Dakota State, which is a second gut-punch.
Oregon also would have been a great team to face in the Semifinal and would have been even better RPI-wise with a win over Utah.
Anyway, at least we were able to cut off that stupid nose on our face.
