Can you take Trosky out of lineup now. I really like his game. Hard to argue. He seems like the most focused player on the team. Scrappy guy. The kind that wins you games even if he's not the flashiest. Feels like every really good team has someone like him, I agree there's no way you take him out at this point.

Some of these crazy long at bats are super impressive and as a pitcher, really deflating. I'd keep him in the lineup for sure.

Great D and slap singles hitter is what this team needs. I also like having him in 9 hole for a great at bat before Bazzana.

Just a great outing for Kmatz. Lawson has been the best long relief guy for the last several weeks. Does he come in or save him for tomorrow. Hunter? Big lead, but the 3rd Utah game is still too fresh. Interesting call for Dorman.

Smith, Trosky, Macias and McDowell are the ones I'd peg as top defensive players. I think we have some that athletically are eye turning but just make some crap mistakes (Baz, Hainline, Krieg). I think Turley is quite good but he also always makes things look easy so it's hard to tell. Counting this game we have 10 errors in 10 games and I think Trosky has started at third in most of those. That 1 E a game is really important for our end of the season run.

I like the idea of not overtaxing Kmatz before next week in Scottsdale too. Especially if we stick with the usual first 3 starters and he goes on Thursday.

One of our worst slugging games all year and we're destroying them 13-1

How do you save runs for tomorrow when the opposition keeps issuing walks and boots the ball?
