Arizona's best starter is going tonight in Clark Candiotti. He's a right hander.
Here's a 'cheer' for maintaining "hot bats" & a bounce back performance for Kmatz.

No Macias in the lineup is weird to me. I like Talt, but Macias has had a great season and had another multi hit game last night. Pretty sure he has the third best batting average from an every day starter on our team. I can only assume he is dinged up? Why would you not start one of your top players in a game with this big of ramifications?
I have no problem with giving Guerra a shot at first tonight over Krieg. If he looks like crap you can move Krieg in there mid game.

Pac 12 Oregon says hole vs Wazzu, bit it said that yesterday and it was our game.....Pac 12 network mailing it in at this point.....technical difficulties mean they are not getting their cameras serviced, or fixed. Just limping to the end

Why isn't Krieg starting then? Guerra is still 0/41 in his last 41 at bats. It has now officially been four weeks since Guerra had a hit. Just trying to get Guerra going again?

Hoping him being a righty means good things for our top 2 lefties in Baz/MMD. Would love to have Macias tonight as well but if he's sick he's sick and we gotta take care of business without him. Unless it's an offensive barnburner we need a good start from Kmatz to have a shot tonight. |
