Should win a few more conference games. That's an improvement, albeit a very low bar.

I confess to having more natural interest than I typically can muster. Go figure.

I'm kinda excited to see what the changes bring.
While I think Bilodeau will be the toughest kid to replace, I did not realize Rataj led the team on rebounds per game in fewer minutes. Last summer he went of the Europe, played a bunch but had the injury and surgery and was just seeming to be get back into the flow late in the season. Hopefully he sticks here this summer and takes full advantage of the 4 hours a week of planned weightlifting a week. I'd like this to be a breakout season for him.
With work and a bunch of scrimmaging together, most of the positions could potentially be getting a bit of an upgrade.

WT did a nice job filling a roster, but none of these new kids are Pac12 caliber players. Hence, "upgrade" is a bit subjective as the WCC is a very weak conference overall. So, will the games be more exciting? Will OSU win more "conference" games? Sure versus... 11th rated NET conference in 2024... #16, #17, #66, #105, #199, #226, #254, #295, #359. Pac12 was the 6th rated NET, with OSU last at #165. Without knowing how these new guys will mesh and the schedule, it is tough to imagine OSU not being in the top 5. IF not, there will need to be a change made immediately.

What else is he gonna say? "well we lost a bunch of good youn players, and brought in bunch of more experienced so-so players, I want to keep getting paid a boat load of dinero so, yeah we could be pretty good next year."

His stats last year were the best of his career. Maybe he's on an upward trajectory. He listed at 6'2, 220 lbs. He played the three and Toledo was a decent team. I hope he's a quality citizen. We are his 4th team in six years ( two at Northern Illinois, one at Ball State, and two at Toledo).

They are trying to sell season tickets and generate interest of course the coach is going to put a positive spin on the upcoming season.

IF not, there will need to be a change made immediately. On the "upgrade" thing... I think our center play could be an upgrade. I think Ibekwe could be a very good player, but he's still a work in progress. I think Marsh might be able to do some things Ibekwe hasn't been able to do consistently yet. I doubt we can upgrade the 4 spot over Bilodeau, but I hope we can get some good play out of whoever replaces him. Rataj should be healthy and improved. Lake, who was basically our 6th man last season, should be better. If he's still the 6th man, there's an upgrade there. He could be a starter, and his per 40 minute production was highest or among the highest on the team in most categories but scoring. At the guard spot, Pope was a very good shooter. We may or may not have a replacement for a steady 3 point shooter, we have guys that have played at some level of college ball with better 3 point shooting percentages. Some people have questioned his D, and his assist to TO ratio wasn't anything to really crow about. We don't yet know how the new guards and Meithof will compare with what we had this past season, but I suspect it could be an upgrade defensively, and I'm not ruling out consistent offensive play yet. The big question is, can the "new" team gel over the course of the summer and fall? It'll be interesting to see, but I'm not ruling out the possibility that this upcoming year's team could be better than last year's even if they had the same schedule.

FFS can't get any worse. Right?
Seriously though, WCC is a solid basketball conference but I would still hope we could string some more wins together than we have been doing. If not, for the love of everything Holy this has to be Tinkle's last go around.
