Not calling anyone stupid for overreacting. It’s part of being a fan base. I just think we pushed the panic button multiple times and for the most part we ended up being a fairly decent position. Imagine Texas A&M without Braden Montgomery, Jace Laviolette, and Gavin Grahovac. From a production standpoint for our team that’s what we lost over the course of months. And I think it affected the whole team from a confidence standpoint as well. Arizona will be a big test. Should be a lot of fun to follow along! If you had posted this prior to the Wazzu breakout game, then maybe there would be some value to it. But it's awfully easy to say we overreacted after having (seemingly) done away with the cold streak.
Also, I don't think it was overreacting; I saw it more as venting frustrations and fears. We all knew that the team had the capability to be special this year. But they were showing us that they weren't so special at all....Or maybe more precisely that they still need some polishing.
Overreaction over the course of a long baseball season adds to the enjoyment and intrigue, especially some of the cocktail induced live game overreactions.
