good to see WSU get held to 1 run there. Last night they got 4 after 2 outs in 8th inning. Ended up being the difference.

This is where we really miss Lattery. He'd probably be at least stirring on the BP right about now. Or he would have been the starter.

I’ve thought this too…but the former Wazzu coach just validated my concern. Feels like OSU is swinging for the fences. Other teams…this WSU one for example, seem to simply put the ball in play. The OSU approach, combined with our “walk first” mentality, feels like a looming issue…

Good inning for Segura. His record is a lot like Hjerpe’s sophomore season. Good start followed by a terrible start. Decent start followed by a bad start. Even though Segura looks physically mature, he isn’t. And he is the best option for Sunday. Just a few weeks ago, the board was pushing for Kmatz or Segura to be the Friday starter.
