I was against it earlier this year, but is it time to move Baz to the three hole just to mix things up for this lineup? Maybe lead off with McDowell, hit Macias 2nd, and Baz third. From there do whatever.
I’m grasping at straws trying to think of how we can get things back on track offensively. I know this team is dangerous offensively when clicking, but we are in a funk as a whole lineup. I remember our lineup in Surprise, in Texas, against Washington, against ASU, etc. This offense is better than this, and hitting is contagious. Gotta try something to get things going.

Our pitch recognition is horsesh*t. That last pitch to Turley was a ball out of the pitcher’s hand. One thing to swing and miss at strikes but chasing those type of pitches is a losing game

You'd think after many, many games this team would quit thinking they are good enough just to show up. I'm telling you there is something mentally wrong with this team whether there isn't leadership, relationship among players, lack of discipline, whatever it is not getting better. There's a ton of things that make you scratch your head about this team, but the noticeable thing to me is that they don't look like they're having fun compared to the earlier part of the season. |

A ray of hope here. That strikout...way out of zone with bases loaded on strike three, reminds us that it is the Cougs we are playing. We need more of that from them in next 45 minutes.

Over the past couple of weeks May and Kmatz have shown energy/excitement but that's pretty much where it ends. |
