So Jake is out as ST coordinator and over at BSU now as a Special Teams Analyst. Seems like a step down. He'd been on the staff at OSU since 2016, he's an alum, and Oregon native. Also, a former standout at S for the Beavs. A hard-hitter and no one will ever forget his Civil War interceptions.
He's replaced here by Jamie Christian @ $300k/yr.
What's the deal? Do Jake and Trent not get along? They didn't overlap during their playing days.
Anyone know why Jake is out and Jamie is in?

Same thing happened to Jake at State Farm. Original Jake that is. All of the sudden, he’s out on his khakis.

Oregon State had a great defense. Special teams seemed good to me but was not nearly as good as the defense. Maybe it has something to do Atticus Sappington leaving?
Cookus' kid beat cancer, which is just a great story. I am sad to see him go.

I think you can kind of read into the actions of Smith not bringing him to Michigan State and then Bray not really wanting to keep him on at OSU.
