Lucia's Twitter page has a bunch or videos of her play. I'm not a good judge of skill, but she seems to have 3-pt skill and drives pretty well. She might have 4 years since she didn't play much last year.

I thought Jonas was leaving. Isn't that him in the final photo?

Congratulations to Coach Rueck and our newest player!
Perhaps this would be an opportune time for our group to speculate, ruminate, pontificate, opinionate, etc. about what strategy we would take during the current chaotic conditions to keep the OSU program at a high level.
I will give my view, fully realizing that Coach Rueck's plan will be far superior!
My plan for OSU WBB success (subject to change hourly!)
(1) Do everything possible to get into a Power 5 conference.
(2) Hire Sydney Wiese as an assistant coach or other position within the program
(3) Focus recruiting on Washington/Oregon/Overseas/California/Western and Mountain states
(4) Focus on recruiting tall post players that require a lot of development and so are under the radar.
(5) Develop a legal incentive system of some kind to reward players who stay in the program for all years of eligibility that they have
(6) Schedule the absolute toughest non-conference schedule possible.
Okay I am sure all of you have better ideas. Bring them on!

Her game log at FSU shows an average of 3 minutes per game - only 5 games total.
No action since 12/20/2023.
Injury? or simply last player at the end of the bench?

1. Yes, this seems to be (and should be) the highest priority according to what Scott Barnes has been saying. It's the Power 4 now with the Pac-12 no longer considered a power conference. 2. Seems like something that might happen down the road at some point. She's still in the WNBA right now. 3. Yeah, I think that pretty much covers the main area Rueck recruits. He's gotten a few players from Texas as well. There's no proven reason against recruiting players out of any state, though. 4. Isn't that something Rueck already does? 5. NIL 6. This was more important IMO when I thought they would have all or most of the players back for another run in the NCAA tournament. Still probably a good idea but have to be realistic based on how strong the team looks.

She put up good numbers overseas. Young, with plenty of potential maybe

Thanks for your comments. Much appreciated!
If I am not mistaken, Sydney Wiese is no longer playing in the WNBA. Perhaps she is still playing overseas?
I do believe that statistics will show that the out of state players portal transfer more often and faster (fewer years before transferring) than do locally regional players.
Your point regarding item #6 is well taken, however I would suggest doing the toughest scheduling possible even if it meant losses for awhile.
Go Beavs!

Sydney has always said she wants to get into broadcasting. I don't know if she has any interest in coaching
