Chin wasn’t criticizing anybody. Any article with a coach has spin. Chin was simply saying Dorman had some spin in the article. Exactly. And anyone who doesn't think a coach will spin to protect his players, while saying what has to be said privately, has never coached or been in a supervisory position. |

Dorman offered up some very good positive spin on his entire pitching staff as he should have. He was complimentary of his entire staff and spun a positive note for the rest of the season. He didn't mention losing big leads or blown save opportunities but rather focused on the pitcher's progress and what the , future might hold.
How did we get to "not criticizing players in public" and all that nonsense? Eggers would never write a story like that. Shaking my head on that response.

…and pitching has been outstanding this weekend. Yes it has! Hole had what, 17 dingers in there last 5 games, before this series? This is a huge outing for Segura. He has the ability to have a May/Kmatz like outing. The hole lineup is dangerous though. Luckily, we have A LOT of arms left to go today. |

He has the ability to have a May/Kmatz like outing. The hole lineup is dangerous though. Luckily, we have A LOT of arms left to go today. Like who? Seems like Mundt and Holmes are our only reliable relievers. Scott was progressing but havent heard from him in 6/7 games. Wonder if hes hurt again. |

We're pretty solid for today. Plus any of them could come out of their funk. |

Putting positive spin on a perceived negative is as old as time itself. Not uncommon at all.
What was the perceived negative? Dorman's reference to his "Stinking Bullpen". LOL
