6'7" guard, most of his points were 3 point shots - 47.1% from beyond the arc. Interesting.

Yeah... a large, diverse conference. But, not a great JC conference in hoops. He appears to have excelled in one area... shooting 3's. Took about 6 per game, overall and in conference. Shot a high %.
Even the WCC will be a huge step up for him.

Yep this kid is a wild card. The conference he played in isn’t considered top notch, and impossible for me to get much of a read on quality of opponents in the video I watched cuz almost all highlights are of him shooting 3s. That said, I like the take. Even with big step up, not crazy to think he could develop into a high 30%/low 40% 3-pt shooter for Beavs. With 3 years eligibility, if he can be even just adequate on D, can at least be a designated sniper off the bench at some point. His shot looked a little bit funky to me with a lower release point than I’d like, but he’s always ready to shoot and repeats his stroke consistently. His size helps mitigate that low release point and doesn’t seem to need the ball right in the shooting pocket to get into his shot. How much he helps next year will depend on how well he adjusts, but seems like he could develop into a usable offensive weapon. He and Williford need to meet with the nutritionist and strength and conditioning coach right away. Both look rail thin. I think a worthwhile take. Has potential and if it doesn’t work out, well, someone has to be 10th man. Says all the right things in linked interview below. If his work ethic is as good as it sounds, think he could hit a few big 3s in his time here. phenomhoopreport.com/putting-in-the-hard-work-isaiah-sy/
