Played at much lower levels, but might be the most decorated WT portal get by far! Who know how each transfer pans out until they actually play, but his JC/college stats and accolades outshine all of the other recent portal guys combined! OK... a bit of exaggeration... but not by much in terms of stats.

OK... a bit of exaggeration... but not by much in terms of stats. Welcome addition Lot to like here. Only real negative I can see is that he’s a high volume scorer who hasn’t shot well. But he gets to the line and shoots very well from there. His rebounding numbers are crazy for a kid his size — listed at 6-0, 190. Averaged 8.5 rpg and I think had 11 games with 10 or more. Ohio Valley isn’t a great conference, so wouldn’t be surprising if can’t duplicate this year’s numbers. But FT shooting and toughness to average 8.5 boards a game will translate to WCC just fine. His back story also seems to indicate a tough, hard working kid. As an aside, he’s from same area in which I grew up. His high school was in same conference as my HS back in my day. (My HS won first state championship this year in bball.). Not sure if still in same conference when he was there. |

Kudos to WT in proactively recruiting players (and assistants), and seemingly promising players at that. Good job WT!!
(I am on occasion critical of WT, but I also believe some credit is due WT here).

Let’s just cut to the chase: When we welcome ANY new addition to the team(s), we can simply use a cookie-cutter greeting like, “Welcome to Oregon State!” “We hope you enjoy your visit.”
It’s clean, and as GENUINE as those statements rendered by the departed.

Likely going to be important to have someone who can with roster we’ll end up with. |
