35-4-0 2017 32-7-0 2018 31-8-0 2005, 2007, 2011, 2013, 2014, & 2022 30-9-0 1986 & 2024 29-10-0 2006 28-10-1 1975, 1998, & 2019
Even after the slide, 2024 Oregon State is tied for the ninth-best start in program history.
2024 Oregon State needs to win two straight to catch 2011 and 2022 and to pass ahead of 1986. I would note that 2011 and 2022 are not the most auspicious seasons, the only two seasons in Oregon State history in which the Beavs lost Super Regionals. But 42-9 is definitely a top eight seed track.
2024 needs to win three straight to catch 2007 and pass 2011. 2007 Oregon State started 34-9 before losing seven of nine to imperil the season.
2024 needs to win nine straight to catch 2014 and 11 wins to catch 2005, fully passing 2022 at 41-9.
2024 needs to win 12 straight to catch 2013 and pass 2018. 2024 needs to win 15 straight to pass 2013.
No Oregon State has started 46-9. Oregon State would move into second all-time with 16 straight wins.
2024 Oregon State would need to win 26 straight to tie 2017 Oregon State. 2024 Oregon State would surpass 2017 Oregon State by playing a 63rd game.
