Perhaps the worst week of Beaver baseball I can remember. I don't understand all the K's. I was watching on TV but it sure didn't look like any of these Cal Pitcher were the un-hittable variety.

Why Palmer with a 1 run lead. Why?? I am guessing but it looks like Dorman has no faith in his BP Staff. Probably for good reason. |

Welp, that was utter s%#t. Please get some players that want to hit an obvious strike, 17, or 18 Ks, pathetic game plan, Cal is CLEARLY a much better team than we are, they actually are aggressive and want to hit while we sit on our collective a$$es and read our rankings. Their pitchers can actually throw strikes too, big benefit, since we can't hit a strike. A lost weekend that really ought to drop us out of the top 15, maybe top 25, cause no way are we there right now. This weekend NEEDs to leave a scar, changes need to happen, MC has some work to do, LOTS of it. OK, now the positive Paul's can blast away on how positive this experience was and we should not acknowledge the obvious problems with this team and not bring up the negatives. |

We are being outhit 9-4 and have struck out 13 times. In a way, lucky to be within a run right now. I was told on here that the high # of Ks... giving away an average of 1/3 your alloted outs... wasn't a big deal. But, the long ball is?! |

But, again I was told a weak noncon wasn't an issue cuz "everyone does it". Except, that really isn't the issue as even vs the weak sisters OSU has been at 9+ Ks per game. And, the vaunted offense was greatly enhanced by having multiple games of 7, 8, 9, 10 free passes. Scary part... they've had games in Pac12 play with a bunch of free passes and haven't taken advantage as well as a good, consistent offense should. Why? 9+ Ks per... |

I know we said ranking doesn't really matter, but JFC this is going to hurt. Don't want to see what tomorrow brings. I think it will be at least 11 or 12. The experts are going realize how much of a mess the bullpen is at this time. |

I’ll start by saying that was the worst home plate umpire I’ve ever seen. At times was 3-4 balls off the plate and than wouldn’t call something down the middle. Now onto the team. No energy. No leadership. No adjustments. Bullpen couldn’t hold on to a $100 bill at this point. Guys need to step up. Got to get the mojo back. Like I said yesterday 0 swagger or moxy. Where’s the cojones.

After this weekend, the only things I can say for sure is Cal is better than they get credit for, and we are overrated.
