Once again making a guy with a 5.40 era look like Cy Young. 8 K’s through 4 And still taking the first pitch. Fine with a slider or outside the zone, obviously, but that fastball in the zone is the most hot table pitch they are seeing. |

Strikeouts ✔️ Mental error ✔️ Those mental errors don’t even show up on the official score, but they hurt as much or more than the actual, scored errors. And they keep happening. Segura makes one location error as all pitchers make, and he is the guy who gets an ass chewing. |

Really good start for Segura. Can’t ask for a whole lot more from him. That’s back to back days where our starter pitched really well. Let’s finish this one and get back home.
