That was crazy how deep Stanford outfield was playing against Travis. Just like little league when the big kid is batting.

Kasper a little amped tonight. Tried to hit that 2 strike changeup into the stratosphere. Happy to see him in the lineup. Finally looks healthy.

Well crap. Is it time to give Krieg a little rest? We don’t exactly have alot of corner options.. Maybe move Tyce to 1B but I still I still feel Krieg is the best option right now until Caraway is back. |

Couple of observations. Macias has really taken the next step with his game all around. I really like his swing and defensively he has been really impressive. I have seen his arm in person and he really has a cannon. He made a great throw tonight to gun a guy out on third early on a big play.
Reeder has been surprisingly good. Again, a good all around player. Hitting over .300 and super solid defensively. He can also really run. He plays with some swagger and I like that.
I’m curious about giving Krieg a break for a game or two. Struck out four times tonight and has struck out a ton lately. I know his average is still decent, but maybe a break would be good for him to reset. I’d like to see Trosky get more chances to play. I like what he brings, and he is excellent defensively.
Lastly, Mundt has been way better than I thought he would be after being killed by injuries the last few years. What an awesome story and a welcome surprise for our bullpen.
